- Have a global opt-in form. Have opt-in forms in the sidebar and footer in every one of your web pages. This will help get people on your e-mail list to receive special offers and news.
- Send an auto responder series for new subscribers. An e-mail auto responder series will help build your commitment and consistency to your brand over a period of time. This will help build a relationship with your potential customers to get them to purchase during the holiday season.
- Give away something for free. People want to say yes to people that have done something for them. So giving away something for free will help influence people to purchase from you later down the road.
- Show a pop-up overlay. Adding a pop-up overlay for new visitors will get people onto your e-mail list. You can do e-mail opt-ins for special offers or promo codes for first-time, unique visitors.
