Hi bob. We’ve chat about male vs female specific creative. Actually, my previous job I work at a dot com for diet and fitness company for eleven years. And we test a bunch of male vs female —— and you probably hasn’t yourself, Bobby. You do right?

Yeah, that’s right.

Yeah. I find it really interesting because even though you sell maybe diet and fitness product, you have to target male vs female differently. I mean, in my case, actually I’m working on a way protein-lending page right now. I was trying to figure different ways that women usage vs male usage. It’s really interesting. I found that women like to look at pictures of women and men obviously to look at picture of males as well. That’s something that you’ve test as well. Once you dig in to some areas that, maybe some tips on how do we generate specific creative in there, conversion optimization.

Sure, sure. I think you hit the key point with your protein test or your inside track. It’s how people use it? But even more importantly, how they think about themselves when they use it. So you have the same product, protein powder, guys, going to think about himself differently when he takes it than a woman is. So a guys maybe taking more, taking at turn to bulk company bigger, has to be more mass, plenty of muscular. A woman thinks about t totally different. She maybe thinking about it as adding more muscle to be more efficient to burn fat better. —– being better, you know producer of leaner body vs mass than a guy would think of. The inventory as well as the copy, is extremely important when creating a page or testing a page like that. I found that one universal truth as long as very few universal truth when it comes to conversion rate optimization but the one that I found is the limitary of women usually up to forums in both cases. And my theory as why there is that men like to look at the pictures of women thinking that if I take this supplement, I would get her or I will get to be with that particular woman or that type of woman. And women like to look at picture of women for totally different reason of , out of sort of envy or jealousy like. I want to look like that or I’m jealous of her. You’re captivating both male and female in a very different way from very different reasons using the same inventory.

I think there’s a specific certain vertical that we can mentioned that, you know, this comes into play not only in diet and fitness means it’s obvious that we know men and women lose weight differently. But also in the finance vertical, you know it can based on different demographic if you know someone looking for that information vs investing, that could be more dominantly female vs more dominantly male or they saving for college or trying to pay out college or what particularly university or geolocation they live in vs actually saving. You know in the finance industry and then of course there’s the clothing or apparel industry obviously selling different clothes. Even if you’re selling male clothes, you can incorporate female inventory that makes the theme like the person who’s wearing the clothes is actually happy. Making your inventory really relate to that person’s need that was someone key take away.

Absolutely. I think you touch down the very important sell point that many of us miss. And that is the point of segmentation. So running test like you said, segmenting the geographic location, segmenting even time of day, things that you can tap into with existing testing tools that you can do even if you don’t know anything about your audience to test different messages, different time, different audience or even different browser.

Yeah, well, this is what persona modeling is all about persuasions architecture. Truly figure out the target audience that you’re trying to talk to. And then develop these different persona that could be entering your different pages and off with paper click, there maybe ways that you can target women vs men but I know in particularly the way to do it is through Facebook.

Yeah, Facebook makes it very easy to target members as women.

Yeah, I think something we many mentioned how to figure out right women and know even second then down even differently. How do you figure out the type of women, you know maybe it’s a woman who needs to lose weight for a wedding and then they choose or goes to Google’s and type keywords to lose weight for an upcoming wedding and you have the landing page to fill that need. But what you can do is use your testing or session camp to watch people to go through your page, your competitor’s pages and your search queries. And people will tell you the type what women would be looking for and then you can understand what type of women you are trying to market to or to the men is needing to support to fill the claims that you have in your landing page. Bobby, you have any their tools to figure out what type of women or men are visiting your pages?
